According to the Laurel County Sheriff's Office, 24-year-old Charles King was traveling in an 'off-road buggy' when he crossed the center line, colliding with another vehicle.

According to Kentucky State Police, a search warrant was being executed at Vanzant Road in Laurel County by the London Police Department. During the search, a police officer shot a man. After failed life-saving attempts, the man was declared dead at the scene by the coroner’s office.

The man was shot and killed early Monday by London police. Officers were serving a search warrant, but no further information about the shooting was immediately available.

A suspect shot during an officer-involved shooting in Morgan County Monday has died, according to authorities. Authorities have now identified the suspect as 41-year-old Drew Patterson Banks of Decatur.
