China has confirmed the cessation of military standoff with India in Ladakh, marking a significant development in bilateral relations. Reports indicate that both nations have agreed to end tensions and resume joint patrolling in areas previously blocked by Chinese forces.

China confirmed on Tuesday that it has reached an agreement with India to end the standoff between the two armies in eastern Ladakh. Going forward China will work with India to implement these resolutions,

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar too on Monday said Indian and Chinese soldiers will be able to resume patrolling in the way they had been doing before the border face-off began and the disengagement process with China has been completed.
