As Drake continues to make legal moves, Kendrick Lamar prepares for his halftime show at Super Bowl LIX. The rapper has been seemingly unfazed by all the chatter surrounding his upcoming performance, even when Lil Wayne took offense to being snubbed for the chance to perform in his hometown.

Drake has scrapped a legal case against Universal Music and Spotify, in which he accused the companies of conspiring to boost the streams of Kendrick Lamar's diss track against him, Not Like Us. The Canadian star took action last November,

Drake, chart-topping rapper and global music icon who is best known for turning emotions into his hits, officially has stepped back from a legal dispute against Universal Music and Spotify.

The notice also notes that Drake’s representatives “met and conferred” with the respondents to the legal action in January. Spotify, which filed an opposition to the petition, responded that it had no objection to the withdrawal. Meanwhile, UMG, which had not filed an opposition to the petition, “reserved its position.”

In a federal lawsuit on Wednesday, Drake accused Universal Music Group of putting his life and reputation at risk by releasing and promoting the popular diss track.

Drake has withdrawn a legal action accusing Universal Music Group and Spotify of artificially inflating Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us."

A second action against UMG and iHeartRadio is still active, alleging that the ‘Not Like Us’ track is defamatory.
