The Heritage Homeowners Association in far north Fort Worth joined a lawsuit on March 3 against members of the Keller school board, alleging that they violated the Texas Open Meetings Act when they met in private to discuss the plan.

Keller’s school board may have abandoned the idea of splitting the district, but they can’t walk away from multiple lawsuits and investigations.

The controversial proposal to divide the district along Highway 377, which was presented in January, was met with controversy.
