The Royals offense cooled off in Friday’s game against the White Sox. But things are still trending up in that area.

Missouri senators authorized hundreds of millions of dollars worth of incentives to try to persuade the Chiefs and Royals to continue playing in the state.

The stadium funding plan now goes to the Missouri House. While Kansas has offered to pay 70% of the cost of new stadiums if the Kansas City teams move, Missouri's offer would cover about half the cost.
