The Stockton Juneteenth Celebration is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds, 1658 S. Airport Way. The event includes poetry, historical presentations, food vendors, and live entertainment.

Rain couldn't put a damper on Brooklyn's Juneteenth parade. The community danced and marched from Gotham Health Center to Gershwin Park in East New York.

TEXARKANA, Ark. – A Juneteenth pageant focusing on empowerment was held on Saturday at Arkansas Middle School. This is the first Juneteenth pageant that Texarkana has had in a long while. Mostly high school and middle school girls participated in the pageant, along with The Scholars, for which $1,000 worth of scholarships were awarded.

As crowds gather on Mall C in downtown Cleveland for a daylong celebration of Juneteenth, the city is once again honoring the day in 1865 when the last enslaved Black Americans in Texas were finally freed — more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
