Jelly Roll will be heading into WWE SummerSlam this weekend with an injury he suffered while training for the event. WWE Superstar Randy Orton and his tag team partner Jelly Roll were recent guests on ESPN’s Get Up.

In a new interview, the country star praised the work that WWE wrestlers put in, noting, "There's no fake way to land on a piece of plywood in front of 60,000 people."

In a chat with ESPN, Jelly Roll revealed that he got injured during his first week of training. The four-time Grammy nominee told the outlet that he broke his pinky in the first week of his training. Jelly Roll also talked about how the training was like a “constant collision," as reported by The Billboard.
