The Israeli Defense Force, IDF reported on Thursday that a ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah had been violated, prompting Israeli tank fire on six locations in southern Lebanon. According to the IDF,

Israeli tank and artillery fire struck several villages, Lebanon’s state media reported, as the Israeli military warned civilians not to return to the area.

The IDF has warned evacuated citizens of southern Lebanese towns and villages not to return to their homes until told to do so. Around 1.2 million people in Lebanon -- roughly a quarter of its population -- have been displaced by Israeli attacks and evacuation orders.
