About 90% of the ice cream sold in the U.S. will no longer contain artificial dyes by 2028, federal health officials announced.

More than 40 of America’s largest ice cream makers have pledged to remove artificial colors from their products by 2028, a major shift in response to growing health concerns and federal pressure.

"We know that our current health outcomes, especially for our children, our unsustainable, and that American agriculture is at the heart of the solution to make America healthy again," Rollins said.
