Elon Musk's AI company xAI has launched the new version of its AI assistant, Grok. The problem? The launch comes almost immediately after Grok went on an antisemitic tirade on X, spewing hate speech and praising Hitler.

Billionaire Elon Musk explained Wednesday that the AI bot Grok engaged in anti-Semitic speech as a result of being “too eager to please.” Last week, Musk announced that Grok had been updated. The X owner promised that the AI’s responses to prompts would be improved and that users would immediately notice a different.

We are aware of posts made by Grok and are actively working to remove the inappropriate posts,” Musk's company said.
