The United States is set to host the 2031 Women's World Cup, as the lone bidder for the tournament, FIFA president Gianni Infantino said Thursday at the UEFA Congress in Belgrade.
Gianni Infantino told European soccer officials that the lone bid to host the 2031 event was from the United States.
With no other bids, the event appears headed to America for the third time. Four British countries on tap for 2035.
