Russia plans to produce 2 million first-person-view (FPV) drones and 30,000 long-range and decoy drones in 2025 for its war against Ukraine, Ukrainian Foreign Intelligence Service (SZRU) spokesperson Oleh Aleksandrov told Politico on June 5.

Ukraine said its “Operation Spiderweb” attacked Russian warplanes worth hundreds of millions of dollars, utilizing drones that each cost under $1,000 and were launched from wooden containers carried on trucks.

Russian warplanes were damaged but not destroyed in a June 1 attack by Ukraine, and they will be restored, Russia's deputy foreign minister said.
