The NHTSA issued a recall notification for 21,069 Dodge Hornet and Alfa Romeo Tonale vehicles over a brake pedal failure.

If it happens, the recall notice advises drivers to use the electronic emergency brake to slow down. FCA has recalled 21,069 Dodge Hornets and Alfa Romeo Tonales. The brake pedal could collapse, causing a loss of brake function.

Over 20,000 units of the Stellantis-made compact crossovers are affected by this recall, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says.
