It feels like just yesterday that the Buffalo Bills were preparing to kick off their 2024 campaign, an offseason’s worth of ridicule from national pundits and opposing fans alike fresh in their minds.

The Bills are projected to finish the season 13-4 and currently have a nearly 100% chance of making the playoffs; a nearly 100% chance of winning their division; a 27% chance of earning a first-round bye; and a 13% shot of winning the Super Bowl, according to The Athletic’s current playoff projections.

But that won't happen in Week 12 of the NFL season. After beating the reigning Super Bowl champions Sunday, the Bills are at 9-2. The last time the team had that record, the Bills were in the middle of their famed four-year Super Bowl run in the mid-1990s.

The Buffalo Bills didn’t play in Week 12 but they picked up two wins in the AFC Playoff Picture (and almost picked up a third). The other three division leaders were locked into close games, with two of them falling.
