The Kansas Bureau of Investigation issued an Amber Alert Tuesday for a missing 2-year-old from Topeka. The missing child, identified as Zabe Mendez, was last seen Friday in the 500 block of Northeast Wabash Avenue, according to the alert.

New York State Police said the father of a 9-year-old girl who was initially the subject of an Amber Alert and was later found dead has been charged with her murder.

Law enforcement has issued an Amber Alert for a child from Topeka Tuesday morning. The Topeka Police Department (TPD) told the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) at 11 a.m.

An AMBER alert that was issued for a Topeka, Kansas child has been rescinded after the child and the suspect were located in Mattoon Tuesday afternoon. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation said the 23-month old child was last seen with the suspect,
