Donald Trump called Democratic Reps. Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi each “an enemy from within,” even as the former president’s Republican allies attempt to argue that his previous comments labelling political adversaries “the enemy from within” are being misinterpreted.

Former President Donald Trump continued his rhetoric against “radical left lunatics” and the so-called “enemy from within.” Trump previously said that both former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) are the “enemy from within” and insinuated he would use law enforcement or military force to go after them.

Donald Trump is not backing down from his fascistic remarks about “the enemy from within,” comments he has made repeatedly in recent weeks. Instead he’s naming Democratic Reps. Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff as part of said “enemy from within.
