President Donald Trump spoke at the military parade in Washington, D.C. on June 14, 2025, celebrating “every generation of warriors” to have served in the U.S. Army.

The parade came amid one of the most tumultuous weeks of Trump’s presidency, with troops in L.A., missiles launched in the Middle East and a targeted killing of a Minnesota lawmaker.

The Army pulled off a sweeping affair featuring more than 6,000 soldiers, 50 aircraft, and fireworks to cap the event highlighting its 250th anniversary.

While the parade was ostensibly to honor the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday, and not Trump’s 79th, Vance hyped Trump’s remarks as “the main event” of the night.

The patriotic crowd, with those in American flag apparel vastly outnumbering revelers in MAGA gear, chanted “USA” at several points throughout the parade.
