HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) - The ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ was passed by the House of Representatives, which included cuts to Medicaid. The Congressional Budget Office predicts nearly 14 million people will lose coverage by 2034, and would cut $715 billion in Medicaid reduction over 10 years.

Gov. Ferguson and those who rely on Medicaid said the U.S. House vote Thursday to cut spending to the program will have damaging effects on all aspects of the healthcare system.

Following the passage of Trump's "big, beautiful bill" in the House, several Delaware lawmakers spoke out against potential adjustments to Medicaid.
