Liverpool are one step closer to shattering their record for an arrival after agreeing a deal with Bayer Leverkusen for Florian Wirtz. The Germany superstar, 22, will become the most expensive Bundesliga export with his move to Merseyside pending a medical ahead of the transfer window that reopens on June 16.
Liverpool have received a transfer enquiry from Galatasaray for goalkeeper Alisson Becker, according to reports. The Brazilian international faces fresh competition for the No. 1 spot next season as Georgian stopper Giorgi Mamardashvili prepares to report to Anfield one year after a £29million deal was agreed with Valencia.
Liverpool will demand more than £40 million ($54.2 million) for Jarell Quansah this summer amid interest from Bayer Leverkusen. The 22-year-old enjoyed an exceptional breakout season in 2023–24 but was less effective under Arne Slot last season.
Arsenal appear to have gone back in for Viktor Gyokeres as Mikel Arteta's striker search continues. The club have been in talks with RB Leipzig over Benjamin Sesko, but it is the Sporting striker reportedly the subject of one rejected bid.
The summer transfer window reopens until September 1 on Monday, and clubs across the Premier League and beyond are positioning themselves to complete deals as early as possible. Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City are among the outfits who have been active already, but the bulk of the business is yet to take place.

Quansah will continue to find playing time hard to come by if he remains at Anfield, with the defender behind Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate in the pecking order. While it remains to be seen whether Quansah is open to a move, the Premier League champions could sanction his exit if they receive an offer in excess of £40m.
