Cincinnati Reds manager Terry Francona says it may take some time to get Hunter Greene back from injury. Greene is battling groin issues.

With that being said, Reds manager Terry Francona revealed an unfortunate injury update about Greene before their bout with the Detroit Tigers on Saturday, via FOX19's Charlie Goldsmith. “It’s going to take a little longer this time," he said.

The Cincinnati Reds signed starting pitcher Wade Miley to a Major League contract on Wednesday and placed Hunter Greene on the injured list with a right groin strain. They also transferred Rhett Lowder to the 60-day injured list.
