I'm not going to add much here because the other reviews cover this excellent stop quite well. I just want to clarify that the BLM gate is at mile marker 147. Others have misquoted the number so igno… Full review by Joe M
Can you drive to the Canyon or do you Park then walk to the Canyon where the pictographs are?

Depending on the weather you can drive or walk. I wouldn't take a 2WD car in there, but a high clearance SUV with good driving should be able to make it to the pictographs.
